But they were all of them deceived, for another ring was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sauron forged in secret, a master ring, to control all others. And into this ring he poured all his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life. One ring to rule them all.

AND OF COURSE

The single most memorable scene in The Avengers (IMO)..

The “one shot” scene with all of them whuppin’ ass.

Now THAT’S a superhero movie.

So epic on so many fronts.

scum-and-villainy:

I hate how everyone says that R2-D2 and C3P0 are gay, as well as Frodo and Sam.

Have you never heard about great dear friendship?

It’s not being gay, it’s caring very deeply about another human/being. It’s friendship love.

You asses.

I agree, 150%! I hate how everyone says Frodo and Sam are gay for one another! It’s pretty much my biggest pet peeve. Did you people not read the books? Sam was in love with that woman in the shire and when they came back, he married her and had children. It wasn’t a “cover-up” or anything. He loved her even before they left on the journey.

Frodo and Sam went to the ends of Middle Earth together and protected one another through endless terror, horrors, and were selfless until the end. They went through more together then any pair of friends ever have or ever will and it was all for the safety of the entire world. Sam even went through thinking his best friend was dead when he wasn’t. It was crazy! They were brothers united by selflessness and it was beautiful.

ACCEPT IT!
